Well, Benjamin finished his last cubbie verse last night. So, he has finished his first AWANA book. We are very proud of our little (well I mean big) guy. Next week he will get to have a carnival to celebrate and then the next week he will walk across the stage and get his award, a little cubbie bear to pin on his cubbie vest. That is really cool. Here is a picture of our little Cubbie.

Ben has done such an excellent job this year! His daddy is very proud of him.
Congrats on the first book award. It is an accomplishment for the parents too. (The kids are not the only ones who get to learn the verses.) That cubby bear pin is deceiving. It comes with some velcro that it looks like you can iron on. Believe me, you can't. In fact, you might just ruin your iron. ;-)
Way to go, Ben! Mikayla can't wait to start her adventure as a cubby this fall. :)
